Your role — Build, shape, and improve
Product-minded engineer: Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated applications and services using Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders and communicate complex technical topics clearly and effectively.
Technical ownership: Take ownership of complex technical topics and drive them from concept through implementation, making well-founded technical decisions.
Architecture & scalability: Contribute to the evolution of our software architecture and build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.
Modernize our systems: Play a key role in evolving our systems towards modern architectures and development practices, leveraging your experience with agentic SDLC.
Mentoring & knowledge sharing: Support and mentor less experienced peers, share your expertise, and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
Job requirements
What you bring — Your profile
6+ years of professional experience in software development, ideally with complex web applications
Expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js
Solid understanding of core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and software architecture
Strong experience working in Linux environments and with databases, ideally PostgreSQL
Strong communication skills, technical problem-solving abilities, and experience mentoring less experienced developers
Experience with geospatial data is a plus
Very good English skills, German is a plus

Salary
The annual gross salary for this position starts at €62,557.74 in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Depending on your experience and qualifications, we offer a significantly higher salary, with typical salaries starting at €70,000 gross per year.
