The role:
As a (Senior) Full Stack Developer at UBIMET, you will work on innovative software solutions that transform meteorological and geospatial data into high-quality, user-friendly web and mobile applications. You will be deeply involved in hands-on development, modernizing existing systems, and collaborating with the team to design and maintain scalable services for a global audience. In this role, you will contribute your expertise to enhance our technology stack, ensure code quality, and help shape products that have a meaningful impact on both the industry and environmental sustainability.
Your main responsibilities:
Hands-on Development: Actively contribute to coding using technologies like Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL to build robust, high-performance solutions.
Work on Scalable Solutions: Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain scalable services that make weather data accessible to a global audience.
Product Development: Transform complex meteorological and geospatial datasets into modern, high-quality web and mobile applications.
Transition Legacy Systems: Lead the transition from existing PHP applications, ensuring a smooth migration to modern stacks and practices.
Team Contribution: As a senior developer, share your expertise, mentor team members, and actively support their professional growth.
Evolve the Tech Stack: Continuously refine and enhance our technology stack to improve performance, maintainability, and development efficiency.
Ensure Quality: Maintain high code quality through thorough testing, code reviews, and a strong focus on building reliable, maintainable software.
Job requirements
You are a fit if you have:
Several years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally working on complex web development projects.
Proven experience with Angular, TypeScript and Node. js
Solid understanding of core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience working in Linux environments is preferred.
Strong database skills, ideally with PostgreSQL.
Experience in working with geospatial data is a plus.
Fluency in English; German skills are a plus.

For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the minimum salary for this position is approximately EUR 45.000,00 gross per year. Depending on qualifications and experience, a significant overpayment is possible, with an expected range of EUR 55.000,00 to EUR 65.000,00 for this role.
