The role

Responsible for creating software products that meet the requirements of our customers, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of our solutions. Your technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and collaboration skills will be key in delivering successful outcomes.


Your main responsibilities

  • You'll transform meteorological and geospatial data into compelling products.
  • You'll design and implement scalable, maintainable services and APIs to make weather data available to the world.
  • You'll develop Python software using Flask, Django, PostgreSQL, Memcached, or similar technologies.
  • You'll build efficient and sustainable backbone components that fuel the variety of products that UBIMET offers.

Job requirements

You’re a fit if you have

  • A passion for solving technical problems with an analytical mind.
  • Strong knowledge of Python.
  • An understanding of complex systems and typical system design patterns.
  • Experience with Linux (Debian flavors preferred).
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and a willingness to learn.
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus.

For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the minimum salary for this position is EUR 3.714,29 gross per month. Significant overpayment is possible, depending on qualifications and experience.
