To manage a growing number of innovative projects effectively, we are seeking highly qualified individuals to join our model development team in Vienna.


Your future role:

  • Development of advanced machine learning models in the meteorological context.
  • Analysis of large datasets and identification of weather patterns.
  • Collaboration with meteorologists, data scientists, and software developers.
  • Integration of machine learning and AI technologies into existing meteorological systems.
  • Validation and monitoring of forecast models and modeling of meteorological processes.

Job requirements

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual with the following background:

  • Completed studies in meteorology, atmospheric physics, or a related field.
  • Experience in data cleansing and forecasting meteorologically-driven variables (e.g., wind and solar energy) using AI/ML technologies. 
  • Programming experience in Python and utilizing open-source ML libraries (such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, etc.).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented work style and good communication skills.

A market-competitive annual gross salary starting from €50,000 per year (full-time), depending on your qualifications and professional experience. Significant overpayment is possible, contingent upon qualifications.
