The Role:

We are looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Lead Engineer to join our team. If you have a strong background in Linux operating systems, container orchestration, and automation, and you’re looking to take your career to the next level, we want to hear from you.

Job requirements

What You'll Do:

  • Migrate our current VM stack to containerized environments using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Design, implement, and manage automation processes for our infrastructure to boost efficiency and reliability (GitOps).
  • Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, reliability, and security issues.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure effective knowledge sharing and compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (Debian flavors preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and a willingness to learn and document new knowledge and skills within Confluence.
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus.

For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the minimum salary for this position is EUR 60.000,- gross per year. Significant overpayment is possible, depending on qualifications and experience.
